On my way to making a keezer for my new to me kegs..
bought a Kenmore 7.2 cubic foot freezer friday, unpacked it, etc etc.
put one keg in it just to see distance to lid, and turned it on for a bit to cool off the inside. obviously I forgot about it for a couple of hours and came back and it was quite cold inside. Not sure how cold but freezing for sure. I would guess it was on low setting for maybe 5 or 6 hours? I took the keg out immediately but what will this to do my beer?
I just put the beer in the keg friday, and did this on sunday. I did have about 20psi of co2 in the keg but it wasn't currently looked up to the CO2 tank just keeping it pressureized till I can get the controller working for the fridge..
so what affect will freezing the keg have on my beer? totally fermented, but not carbonated yet if that matters...
