Hi everyone, today I found what has to be the easiest chest freezer that you can turn into a fermentation chamber that there is.
Directions:
Open side panel
Cut the yellow and black wires that are attached to the temperature controller that is behind the knob on the the side panel.
Wire-nut them together and your done.
Plug up your controller of choice, program and drop in your carboy This is a 14 cf freezer and can hold at least four (maybe more) 6.5 gallon big mouth bubblers with air lock without worrying about collars or other mods to the freezer. I traded out a computer repair for the freezer and am running it with a Ink Bird 308 controller, so I only have like $35 in the project. I hope it steps the quality of my brew up a notch.
