Fridge drinks dispenser kegerator?

Has anyone ever hooked up a fridge drinks dispenser to a keg? If so, how successful was it?

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Instead of fixing a tap to a fridge, why not just hook the keg up to the drinks dispenser?

My guess is that the water line in a fridge is too small in diameter and would cause excessive foaming when delivering beer through it. If you could replace the existing line with keg tubing, (3/16" minimum), then it could work. I am sure you would also have to look at the dispenser/tap itself. This would probably require some modification also. Go for it. It sounds like a great challenge to me. Cheers!
