Free Carboy from a co-worker of mine that I've given home brew too. Its a 6.5 gallon glass carboy that was still in box, never ben used. He tends to like the "green" rather than the brown;) cant wait to put it to use.
 
It means it is better quality glass than carboys sold now-a-days for fermenting beer or wine. My first one, back in 87, is 7.5 gallons. It is several pounds heavier than the newer 6.5 carboys.
 
Wow, cool man, i have a few 5 gallon "better bottle" carboys that tend to overflow when i do a heavy hop batch. This should help me out on the overflow issue.

My bro-in law gave me two 5 gal acid carboys which I use exclusively for secondary fermentation vessels on those occasions when a big brew requires it.:mug:
