Planted all my rhizomes at same time Goldings, MT hood, and hallertauer. Seems Hallertauer and Goldings are doing ok where the mt hood just broke ground.

Is it normal?

Mt Hood tends to be a bit more finicky variety compared to some like Hallertau. At least that's what I found growing them. My hallertau goes nuts every year while the Mt Hood has a few shoots and bines and has a low production. Slower grower too compared to some others. I ran into the same with Northern Brewer. I grow Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Hallertau, Mt Hood, Saaz, EKG, Fuggle, Northern Brewer, and Glacier. I will probably plant some Wilamette as soon as I find rhizomes.
