I bottled my first real graff last month.
1 1/2 gal of store bought apple juice
2 lb frozen, crushed crab apples
1 can FAJC
1/2 lb of light DME
Nottingham ale yeast
About 7.5 ABV
I just opened the first swing top. Perfect level of carbonation, with 1/4 in of head from a hard pour. Nice tart bite with just a little residual sweetness, and a very slight malted taste.
I am not much of a beer drinker, but this was a perfect match between beer and cider. It was really good. I've got to watch it because it would be easy to drink too much of this one.
