I don't know if we can call it "beer" but being a few hours away from the HBS, and some boredom set me into this one.

I do not have a thermometer, so my "mash"... May not be mash. I just went on taste. So anyway. I put some herbs and sugar, ....and wine yeast..(all I had) so I'm expecting g some alcoholic beer flavored drink. Lol. I've never brewed a beer before, let alone a Gruit beer. Uber beer brewing noob.

I'll let you know how it all goes!

Here is what I wrote down in my notes. The must tasted really good, but I wanted a higher ABV so I added in 1/ 1/2 more cups of sugar. Actually I use sucanat. Here you are, hope it makes sense.

(Hopless beer batch number 1) ;)

1/2 wheat malt

3 cups sugar, but do 2 cups for better flavor next time

Rosemary catnip and yarrow in a tea

Myrtle and yarrow oil 1-3 drops (because no herbs)

Mash grains..

Pitch yeast after cooled and add in tea and oil

Thanks for the quick review... Jest jest. ;-) have you brewed beer or something since? You should try Graff. Mighty tasty. I should get off my fat backside and get some started. Thanks for the motivation.
