First broken hydrometer :(

Well, I decided to drink a few heady toppers before cleaning. Needless to say, I broke my first hydrometer. Literally punched that mother hydrofu.cker clean off the table.(accidentally)
I was hoping to brew a million batches with the same one, but I failed; 4 batches in .
Just a random ass reminder, and good quote (along with a non-brewing themed pic)

Just throwing this out there.....but like 4 of them bad boys and keep them on the shelf some where. They always break.

Very accurate of you to say "first" hydrometer. There will be more. I broke one because I was using a paper towel to wipe it clean and held on too tight and it split right where the skinny thin part and the bottom meet.

Haahaaha! Ditto! Just the other day... To. A. Tee. Yeah, buy 5... At $4.95 a pop the "insurance" clause alone will pay for itself..

Haha I'm definitely going to buy 4 or 5. I wonder if more beer does free shipping on them, I'll have to check.
For the record, I lost the finger when I was 19 in a very unfortunate cheesemaking incident.

I put my hydrometer on a towel on the counter of my fiance's apartment (where we brew) in order to let it air dry and she moved the towel without seeing it. It was my first hydrometer and had lasted almost a year. *sigh*
