I'm currently running my first batch with a RIMS tube. Man this rocks! No more inconsistent mash temps for me. Thanks to the great folks on the forum for the informative posts on electrical brewing!

Some tips:
* Merit Brass on Amazon has great prices on the stainless parts for folks considering building a tube.
* Make sure to buy quality Teflon tape and tighten down the fittings with all your strength.

Now I'm thinking about replacing my 10G cooler mash tun with a 9G Bayou Classic SS pot. If I did the math right that should work for 5G batches just north of 1.080 right?
