First brew yesterday with my new gravity system and new mashtun. My efficiency improved greatly (from low 60's to 72% yesterday) which I'm really happy with.

Had to deal with some weather issues. Brewing in sub 20 degree weather needs a little better planning. The spigot off the house kept freezing as well as the hose.

The only real downside to the day was that my immersion chiller must have been sitting against my brewmometer because what was 70 degress turned into 95 once the wort made it's way into the carboys. It's slowly cooling down to pitching temp.

I don't think I should be concerned because I did get it under 160, so I shouldn't have a DMS issue.

I really like your setup and am looking at setting one up very similar. How did you do the water line going to the hot liquor tank?
