Hi,
I got my first batch brewing. It's a BB kit of Holiday Ale that should be ready by the third week of December. I brewed it on Thursday of last week and I have to say it's going well. I am glad I did a search and put a blow off tube on the batch. I'm almost afraid of what would have happened if I didn't. My primary has been blowing off like Krakatoa and just settled down this morning.
I also cleaned out a corner downstairs and modified an old cabinet or two, some old countertop that was good enough to save for a project and made a "brewing station" for all my supplies and a great place to work. I also plumbed over a spigot close by with a dual carbon filter set up for washing and other tasks.
