Finally jumping in.

Been an avid craft beer fan for several years and have been toying with the idea of brewing for some time. Last weekend went to a relatives home and brewed with them to see if I could get into it and I had a ton of fun and put me at ease with the process. So here we go, I am going straight to all grain as that is what everyone I know around me does and plan on 5 gallon batches. I have a wife who is supportive of me spending less on buying beer (I wont tell her how much I spend on this endeavor), 3 young kids (5,3, and 15 months) who can hopefully grow up to help me out.

I have tons of people to help me with my finished product so I am sure I will keep busy making more.

Go for it! I did 2 partial mashes and my 3rd was all grain.
