I know this may sound like a rookie question but o well. I received a Fermotemp Electric Fermentation Heater for Christmas and I am finally ready to use it. I am brewing a lager and I know I have to get those Temps pretty low. My question is how do I get it to keep the Temps down. I read something about plugging the fridge into my temp dial on the cool side and this will keep it low. Im so confused please help!!!

Aha! Yes, that's like the 308.

Then the way to do it, easiest, is to take a non-frost free refrigerator (a kegerator is what I use), turn the temp all the way down, and plug it into the "COOL" side of that.
