Faucet spout question

This may seem ridiculous, but I have a sink faucet that has a 12" spout - bottom line is that it comes out too far into the sink. My sink comes out about 18", so the spout is near the edge when it sprays (2-3" lip on my sink). I am looking for a 6" spout, but I search and can't just really find the spout. I have this:

Looking for suggestions on a smaller spout.... any thoughts?
