So my favorite beer is Fat Tire but they do not sell it in OK where i live so i decided to try a clone after searching all over most clone recipes differed greatly from what New Belgium's website said they use so finally I came across this http://coloradohomebrew.com/content/new-belgium-fat-tire-clone

Color: 12.3 SRM
Alcohol: 5.3% ABV
Bitterness: 22.8 IBU
All grain - 5 gallon
Ingredients:
8 lbs 2-Row Brewers Malt; Briess
.5 lbs Crystal Malt 80°L
1 lbs Munich Malt; Bairds Malt
.375 lbs Victory® Malt; Briess
.625 lbs Maris Otter Pale
0.4 oz Target - 9.7 AA% pellets; boiled 60 min
0.50 oz Willamette - 4.6 AA% pellets; boiled 15 min
0.50 oz Goldings - 5.0 AA% pellets; boiled 1 min
1 tsp Irish Moss - 15min (omitted from calculations)
WYeast 1272 American Ale II
I used White Labs WLP001 instead of the WYeast b/c my LHBS does not carry WYeast and they told me it is the same strain but anyway after trying the results I find it very close i actually got to do a side by side with the real thing after someone brought me some FT from Texas and it is a bit more hoppy but very close!!
