Well its October 1st and I am just curious as to what is everyones favorite beer for the fall? I know oktoberfests and pumpkin ales are the most common but any others that you prefer?

Southern Tier Harvest. Its a hopped up ESB with fresh hops. Love it, cant wait. Peak's Fall Summit is a great showcase of the hop

I'm partial to browns, porters, dunkels, scotch ales, and bitters in fall.

I like porters, pumpkin, and nut browns quite a bit in the fall.

I like Altbiers, Oktoberfests, then moving to Nut Browns and Porters.
Personally, I've never met a pumpkinale I've liked, but that's just me.
I had a very nice beer last weekend by Sebago Brewing(Maine) called 'Local Harvest'. It's a somewhat hoppy pale ale type. Very tasty. The malts and hops are locally sourced. I picked up a 4-pack to try at home. The bottles are almost as good as the tap was.
