Dump or try to save? First AG attempt

So first all grain attempt and I messed up. When I used an online water calculator I put in 5 gallon boil instead of 6.5 gallon. Needless to say after boil I only had about 3.5 to 4 gallons and some really green looking beer. My question is can I just add water to the fermentation bucket to get it to the right gravity?

Should be fine to do this as long as the water is sterile. You're basically doing what most beginner extract recipes tell you to do.

That's what I figured. It's a Maibock so only time will tell. Definitely a lesson learned.
