if I use a dry Saison yeast for a batch of beer can I wash that yeast and keep it liquid for the next time?

I have washed Nottingham(dry) yeast before after a batch and it was fine. Once the brew is done, dry yeast is the same as liquid yeast, as far as washing it.

I 've done something similar but before fermentation, here the procedure:

Rehydrated 2 packs of US-05 in cooled boiled water
put in 10 vials of that clean yeast slurry (10ml each)
added glycerine and frozen the yeast
I've used it for 4 batches up to now (of course propagated the yeast with starters) no problem found
