Dry hopping question

I thought I would have a keg available for my IPA but it looks like I might not have one available for a bit.
Hops have already been in for 7 days, should I rack into another carboy to get it off the hops? Or is it ok to dry hop another couple weeks? Its 1oz Cascade and 1/2oz simcoe.
 
From what I understand, a few more weeks would probably be bad but another week would probably be ok. You could always buy another keg or just bottle this batch.
 
I usually dry hop for about 10 days, which seems fine to me..
From what I've heard, dry hopping for longer periods can impart a "grassy" flavor. I don't know if it's true or not because I've never tried it.
