I am in the process of building my basement brewery. I have a perfect spot for it in my house, next to the basement bar. Hello through-the-wall taps!
I have water and drain in the brewery area, but the floor has in-floor heating so breaking to catch a drain line is out of the question. I do have a drain for the upstairs bathroom that traverses the ceiling. Sooo, I'm gonna pump up there. Rise is less than 10 feet. I am considering either an auto laundry pump like so....

...or a reservoir system such as...

I'm leaning towards the first system despite the $40.00 upcharge. I like the idea of no reservoir of "stuff" sitting under the sink. I'm wondering if anyone else has already made this decision and could provide pros and cons of either one.
Cheers!
Chris
