Never had a fermentation look like this. Of course, I usually have it in an opaque container, so I don't get to actually see the bottom much of the time.

Looks fine to me. I have had that happen a time or two myself. Not sure what causes it but the beer always tasted good. :rockin:

Fermentation is not pretty. Neither is making sausage, processing poultry, or beef. Get some curtains and drink up !!!
