I'm interested in using carbonated water and syrups to dispense soda out of my kegerator when I am short a keg of beer. Right now I have 3 Perlick taps, each with 10' of line. I know that soda water needs to be carbed and served at around 30psi. 10' of line is nowhere near long enough but it would be a massive pain to remove the line from the shank/disconnect every time I want to switch from beer to soda dispensing.

Are there any tricks to dispense 30psi water from my 10' of beer line? Also, will Perlick tabs withhold 30psi of pressure?

EDIT: Do I need to worry about off flavors in the line if I carbonated actual sugary soda? I've read that root beer could be a problem, but if I didn't make root beer should it be fine?
