So I was just cooling my starter when I realized I forgot to take my yeast out of the fridge. So I waited for my wort to cool transfered it to a well sanitized growler covered it with a well sanitized piece of foil and let it sit for 3-4 hours while my yeast warmed. What are the chances it will be infected? Any way I can tell if its infected?
Thanks James

One other question. I made my starter a day earlier then I usually do. I made it late Saturday and it seems to be at high krausen now but I won't be brewing until tomorrow. Should I just leave it at room temperature until I pitch it in about 24 hours or should I refrigerate it?
Thanks James

I'd just leave it at room temp. If it's at high krausen now, you don't want to stick it in the fridge. Just dump the whole thing in tomorrow when you pitch.
