Designing chiller, some hb focused paper?

Hi guys. I'm starting to design my own chiller (and also pre chiller) for my first batch of beer. I'm not a guy of "hunch" my technical background demands calculations. Is there any nice and homebrew focused papers to read and work out some spreadsheet calculation to calculate my chilller? The documents i find online are to broad and use special liquids to chill, is more industrial focused.

This will be handy to define what copper pipe diameter to use (bigger is better but also expensive), length, etc. as dimensions and money are limited.
