Hi everyone! This will be my first post at these forums but probably not the last! I want to get into full boil and know that a lot of people just use a turkey cooker. I can get this one with my American Express rewards points: http://www.amazon.com/Brinkmann-815-4001-S-Turkey-Fryer/dp/B002HEL5QA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1318533811&sr=8-1
My concern is that there is a lip around it that the pot sits in. If I ever decide to use a larger pot I would have a bigger pot that is now sitting farther off the flame. Does anybody else see a problem with this? Not to mention, if I wanted to get into 10 gallon batches, do you think this 45000 BTU cooker would be too weak? I was thinking about dropping the money on a serious banjo cooker instead...
Thanks guys!
