Hello all!

It's that time of year and i have a smallish supply of both Dandelions and Primroses, though not enough of each to consider two five gallon batches.

Has anyone had any success or failings mixing the two?

I was planning on steeping on the Dandelions for a couple of days then racking onto Primroses topping up with with White Grape Juice, probably to a ratio of one gallon of juice (plus Raisins/Sultanas) to another four of water, adding some brewing sugar to get the desired SG.

Would the bitterness of the Dandelions be smoothed out by the Primrose? Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot

I think it sounds like a lovely combo, but I'm not terribly educated in the flower wine department, although I have a dandelion wine and a lilac wine planned this year.
