BIAB Variation leaning heavily on Biermuncher's Newcastle clone but changing a few ingredients and adding a bit of bitter orange. This is my first brewing attempt. I will report back once I've tasted it carbonated. Cheers!

Results are in. Tastes great but more like a Nut Brown than a Newcastle. Maybe the grain choices... maybe the higher ABV.

I had a six gallon batch. 3 gallons (what I reviewed above) went into the corny keg and force carbed, 1 gallon i bottled as is, 1 gallon I dryhopped with cascade hops and then bottled, and 1 gallon I dryhopped with east kent and bottled. The bottled beer still has 2 weeks to go until tasting.

It's often called Daddy Juice in my house as well.

I have to say, that's a remarkable label. What did you use to make it?

Thanks. I've spent most of my adult life doing web and graphic design. This label was designed in illustrator and photoshop.

My next beer (after the belgian wit I brewed Sunday) is going to be a black ale in the spirit of Xingu Brazilian Black. My little boy Aidan's nickname is "Bearclaw" so that was the inspiration for this next label. Tried to go a little more simple. Printing them on round "KRAFT BROWN" labels from Avery. (22808 part number)
