Nobody ever responded to this, but I love WLP080. It produces an amazingly clean, crisp beer. I would ferment it in the low ale range like most other hybrid beers- 58-62F. My cream ale is best when I use WLP080. I wish I knew more about it so I could make an informed decision to re-use it or not. It's still good with 090, but it's not quite right. Another good intro to lagers is WLP810, San Francisco lager yeast. Again, ferment in the low ale (hybrid) temp range. This will be fruitier than the 080, but have the crispness of a lager and a really nice round malt character.
