As most people here do, my wife and I dream of opening a brewery in town. The market is ripe for it, and we are in the planning stage, but it still feels like a dream.
While perusing Craigslist for a small pond pump to recirculate ice water in a fermenter I ran across this.




March TE-7R-MD. 3/4 HP, 53 gal/min.
She's got some years on her, but is brand new. The gentleman purchased it 10 years ago to drain his pool but realized it wasn't self priming.

I got it for $40.

Now I just need a really big brew house to use it with! I'm most likely going to sell it to fund my purchase of a March Nano pump. Just need to find someone to buy it.

53 gallons per minute? You do realize that most brewing pumps are closer to 5-6 GPM. This thing is a BEAST!

Yeah. That 60' of head will really come in handy too. ;-)

Yep....you can brew in your 6th story apartment with your brew partner on the 1st floor. He does the mash, you do the boil. Winning!
