Cracked BetterBottle ??

Just had my second better bottle carboy crack in about a month, seemingly without reason. Didn't drop it or expose it to high heat or anything. I thought these things were supposed to be almost indestructible!

Anyone else have these bottles develop cracks in the bottom spontaneously? Am I doing something wrong?

I have 3 ea 5 gal & 3 gal plus 1 ea 6 gal. They're 2+ years old w: numerous batches followed by cleaning w/ B Brite & hot water.
No problems.

Interesting, it never occurred to me to roll the bottle around on a tennis ball.

You know, that totally makes sense since the cracks I have are long cracks, not the tons of tiny fissures you normally see when plastic develops crazing.

Also, both times I noticed the cracks when I took the bottle off the shelf to sanitize. It would make sense that it cracked during the cleaning from the batch before.

I guess I'll be more careful swirling the bottle!
