I'm thinking of getting a big bag of couscous from Costco. Is there any way I could also use it in the mash?

Dont see why not. I believe it is simply coarsely ground durum wheat with the shells removed. Not sure it would be any cheaper than using your own wheat from a brewstore, but sure, why not?

I was going to say you'd want to cereal mash it, but Wikipedia says it's pre-steamed, so I guess not. I once used a box of shredded wheat cereal in the mash (LHBS was closed, and it was the only wheat I could find), and the beer was fine.
