Cork lined bottle caps

Buddy at work got me an old bench capper and a box of cork lined bottle caps at a garage sale. The bottle caps are old, maybe 1950s, what's the best use for them? Will I have issues with carbed beer going flat? Would I be best off putting them up as bar deco?

Good caps for decoration or adding to vintage beer collectibles. Cork will be dried out. Probably begin to flake off if used.

They actually look great. Doesn't seem overly dried out, nor peeling at all
