I've been reading about controlling flow for highly carbonated beverages (what got me reading was my plans for seltzer in my keeper).
The idea of long spools of beverage line doesn't sound fun.
I get the swizzle stick down in the beer tube of my keg, but that's trial and error.
I saw this -> http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/faucets/faucets/FCA-A.shtml (hope I don't get flagged). It seems to go between the shank and the faucet. Anyone have experience with this? Seems ideal, just a little expensive...but it should last a LONG time.

Searching now...was in a hurry...sorry...please don't kill me.

I am not familiar with swizzle sticks used in a kegerator application. Are you talking about beverage swizzle sticks?

I would think that would work. I know some people have reported success using the similar Perlick flow control faucets, which seem to me like a better choice if you don't have any faucets yet. Honestly having longer lines isn't that bad. I use a couple zip-ties to keep them coiled up and organized.

I think he's referring to the helical plastic sticks used for mixing 2-part epoxies. They can be slid into the keg diptube to increase resistance.

Yes, Juan pointed to the item I was referring too

I'm just concerned about the leaching/breaking down. If the fca I linked to works, I don't mind the $, just haven't found much about them
Also saw last night that they are updating the product

In soda dispensing setups, they use an 1/8 id hose connected to 3/16 MFLs.
If you can find the smaller id tubing, you would be able to shorten the run.

I'm currently out of town but will post a picture of an MFL with the smaller tubing connected. Had several cold plates that were given to me that had the lines cutoff.
