So I'm finally ready to enter my first beers into competition (yeah me!) and I've got one that my software says the style would be within the guidelines for 19A: Old Ale. So I enter this as the style but the registration site says that for style 19 (among others) I have to enter notes. What am I supposed to be listing here? I know on the fruit beer that I have to list the fruit(s) used and base style but I didn't see anything in the BJCP guidelines indicating what I need to enter here.

Can anyone provide any guidance on this?

Cheers :mug:

I wouldn't think you'd need to enter anything for an Old Ale. Typically forms are standard and that field will be there for every entry, but you don't have to fill it out.
