Bringing Sour Back
I know this beer gets pretty mediocre ratings, but I really enjoy it.
If anyone has ideas, I'd like an approximate recipe as a starting point for brewing something like it, not necessarily an exact clone.
I taste a modest amount of noble hop(s), probably Hallertau. Lots of sweet malt flavor; I don't taste pils; my wild guess is 2-row with some German Munich. Maybe some crystal. ??? Malty water profile. Lager yeast for sure but no idea which one. I don't detect any sulfide; very clean.
Columbus provides nothing useful in their website, other than the ABV, IBU, and to say they use "European" malt and hops.
