Hey all. I'm 5 days into my 2nd batch of brew, (the first since taking the plunge and upgrading to a 5gallon setup instead of a Mr. Beer.) I tried the first recipe I came across in How to Brew that sounded tasty, a 3 Weisse Guys.
I'm glad I found the "N00b Advice" thread here, though with the Mr. Beer Pale Ale I broke atleast a dozen of the rules set out in that thread, ending up with a Ginger Ale Malt Liquor abomination that was barely palettable. Oh well, live and learn!
I'm an ex-Army Firefighter and am just finishing up my AS in Paramedicine. Other than brewing I dig snowboarding, video games and my Subaru. Glad to be here, it looks like I'm going to learn a lot.
