OK - this might be an obvious question.
I am going to collect yeast from a recent batch of IPA (WLP001) - pretty straightforward....should be no issues.
I want to collect some yeast (Wyeast 3944) from a batch of Belgian Wit....but I am currently fermenting a few gallons of Apple Juice on it (combo Wit and Cider).
Can I expect a 'clean' Wyeast 3944 (provided I collect/wash it right) after the original cake was used once for beer and then once for a wit-cider?
thanks!
