Hey all…

So, I believe my keg has a leak (not 100% sure on that- can't find any leaks using starsan and soap and water). It is full of beer and I'm about to head on vacation for 2 weeks or so; it has been on CO2 for about 3 weeks.

Question is, (1) if the beer is off CO2 (possibly with a leak), will the beer go stale in 3 or 4 weeks? It will be keep in the keezer…

(2) If there is a leak on the keg, would it be advisable to transfer the beer to another keg? I'm guessing the new Keg should be purged, etc…

Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated…

It should be fine. It's close if not fully carbed after two weeks on gas.
While it may lose carbonation while you're out of town, it's not going to pull any air in, so it can't really "go stale".

Transfers should always be done to purged receivers...

Cheers!
