Cleaned out my MLT and Boil Kettle ball valves last night. I do run hot water/PBW through the whole system after a brew day but I thought it was time to get inside and clean them.

Both had bits of various things locked in the threads and little hiding places.

Just a little PSA for those who have not cleaned them in a while.

Shiny and clean now!

My mash tun never is all that bad, BK on the other hand the first time was an eye opener!
Just ask @Billy-Klubb you need to keep your BK clean, clean balls are happy balls;)

I have cleaned mine once or twice before. I'm sure running PBW though helps slow down the build up of funk inside but it's always going to have stuff growing.

In before someone links the thread about how nasty they can get.
