'Clarence' Stout

Anyone remember 'Clarence the Cross-eyed Lion' from the TV show 'Daktari'?
I've been working on trying to replicate 'Lion Stout', a wonderful tropical stout from Sri Lanka for the past 4 years. Mostly to piss-poor results, including 1 total dumper and another that I should have dumped but am just too darn stubborn to give up on.
I'm hopeful about this year's batch, but won't bother posting the recipe until I see how it turns out- in 6-8 weeks or so.
Teaser- I used Citra and Moteuka hops this time to try and get some tropical fruitiness.
