Hi there fellow brewers. I want to try and brew a cider for my wife and I was wondering if anyone would be keen on sharing a simple cider recipe that isn't too complicated. I have gone through some of the info on the forum, but it all seems so different from each other. I plan on brewing from fresh apples and Mangrove Jacks cider yeast. Any help would be appreciated

Check out the cider recipe forum . Your bound to find some good ones there . I've only done cider kits so I cant help ya there.

The absolute simplest recipe would be apple juice + yeast. Maybe some yeast nutrient to minimize the presence of sulfur from stressed yeast. They key will be to use good juice (must). If you are pressing juice from apples, I would suggest using a blend of apples with some sweet and some tart to provide a balanced profile.

Definitely check out the Cider for Beginner's sticky in the cider forum: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/cider-for-beginners.508303/
