So I'm having trouble verifying this but I thought it wasn't a good idea to use brass plated faucets for cider. I don't know why I think this but I usually use a picnic tap.

So I'm getting a stainless faucet and I'm wondering if it's ok to use with my cider?

By the way Williams brewing is having a 20% off sale on their innertap faucets.

I should probably add that I heard it was the acidity of the cider corroding the faucet is why it isn't a good idea.

I make ciders for the wife all the time. And serve them threw my perlicks. Never had an issue or off favors.
I also have a family member that works at a brewery he agrees with the short time frames a standard faucet is NOT an issue.
