I just saw Dr. Bamforth at the ASM conference here in San Diego at 2:30. He rocked, as always. It is so interesting to hear him speak, and slam-with affection, of course-the wine peeps in the room...Did anyone else in this forum hear him speak? He got great reviews, and lots of laughs. His talk was entitled: "the biochemisty of Beer"

Hahah, I just came across this thread, I'm Zombifying it- my bad. Just wanted to say that Charlie Bamforth is currently one of my professors at UC Davis, and every lecture is just amazing; he is informative, knowledgeable, a little opinionated, and downright hilarious. What a dude.
