My caribou slobber has only been in the keg for a week with some force carbonation. My line length was only 4 feet so with 12 psi I was getting lots of foam. I could dial back the pressure and get a nice malty tasting glass. Today I changed the line to 10 feet so I keep serving pressure at 12psi, however now the beer taste off and more bitter than it should be. Any idea what happened to the nice malty flavor?

I use 10’ lines and run 12 psi (I think my controller is set to around 38) for good pours. I don’t think correcting your line length should affect flavors. Did you vent the keg first as it sounded over-carbonated to bring the carbonation back to where it should be?
