If you use plastic carboys, just go buy a 2 qt. measuring cup. Simple, that's it.

Excellent suggestion. I have had both 5 Gal plastic & 6 Gal glass in the 2qt measuring cup as well as the standard blue carboy dryer. I put them both in the sink so anything that drips out goes in the right place.

Thats how i actually clean my carboys without an asston of water and cleaner
put about a gallon of hot water in, a scoop of oxyclean, put a pyrex measuring cup under it and flip it over.. holds all the water in and cleans easier.

Great tip. I tried that tonight and it worked great. Always put the oxy and hot water in the carboy ant let the foam settle , top off, let the foam settle, top off again and again. This put the hot water and oxy where the krausen was and cleaned in 1/3 the time with no topping off at all.

Thanks, Bob
