I decided after breaking my back lifting and moving carboys so many times. I finally added wheels to my milk crates.
This is my project.
Materials List from Home Depot:
12, 1 1/4" Swivel Castor's = $2.49
1, 2X2' sheet of 3/8" wood = $5
1 box #6 1 1/4" machine wood screws = $5
3 milk crates = Use your imagination (Or you can buy crates at Staples)
Total $40
Here I'm aligning my carboy dryer to fit inside the crates, inside the support structure for the casters. This allows me to dry my carboys in the crates for just a little added support.
Preparing for assembly.
Assembled!
Ahhh! Done and they fit great!
As you can see I have hardwood floors and I don't want to scratch them. Or at least minimize the damage.
If I wanted to do this again I might use 1/2" plywood and longer screws but this will do for quite a while.
