ok, use mostly plastic 6 gallon carboys and have tried different set ups air locks and blow offs a air lock with 2nd blow off. use a stir plate so i have lotsa yeast.
have a brown ale with a wyeast 1056 and it is going crazy and I am having to change the bowl with the blow off tube 3 times in 24 hours. There is a fair amount of yeast in the bottom ofthe bowl and floating around.

Any concern with losing this much yeast? any suggestion how to stop it.

nor ro mention a pain in the butt.:ban:

nope, won't be a problem - try keeping your fermentation temperatures down in the 65 range and it will usually help with blowoff.

Thanks was at about 67 68. Turned my controlled unit down to 65 after looking at the Wyeast chart profile
