carb stone keg lid question

i got the carbonating keg lid from more beer. was wondering something, after the beer is carbed am i going to lose carbonation if i take the lid off and put the regular lid back on it?

You will lose a little, but not much. It's just like opening a bottle of beer, only a lot bigger. Beer doesn't go flat as soon as you open the bottle. And warm beer goes flat faster than cold beer. So, to minimize CO2 loss, make sure the beer is cold prior to changing lids.

Also, remember to purge the headspace after changing lids, as you did let in some oxygen.
