Well that mead recipe i tried is working pretty well now. Its gassing just fine but has a larger amount of foaming than i thought it would. Hope its alright

Well, what's the recipe?

If you posted it elsewhere, can you give us a link to it?

Its an old recipe a old fellow gave me. 5 gallon carboy recipe.
1 gallon pure corn syrup
3 cups of honey
3 tbsp lemonjuice
Lavlin kv1116 5 grams

Bring 1 gallon of water with syrup and honey to boil let cool and add to carboy. Then heat rest of purified water to temp then cool. Add lemon juice stir cool to 68 to 70 degrees add yeast and and cap and bubbler.
Its been working 5 days now. Do not own hydrometer so i dont know the gravity at start.
Just going to let it work till stop then rack and let it set a couple months then bottle.
