Can you put those orange carboy caps in the dishwasher?

Hi all,

When I clean my carboys, I usually just use the same sodium percarbonate solution to clean off the carboy cap as well. But with the last RIS, I had a pretty big blowoff, and the cap is rather grody looking.

Just curious - would this thing get all fouled/distended if I threw it in the dishwasher? Anyone try? A search of the site didn't turn up any discussion (one of the few HB-related questions I've ever had that hadn't been discussed before...)

Well how long would it take to wash it by hand?
Maybe soak in some warm water the wipe it down? Not counting soak time, like 1 minute? Maybe 2?

I've thrown them in the dishwasher, no problems for me.
